OK so I'm going to start reviewing the first of my favourite bands at Sziget 2009 and they were.............BLOC PARTY!
IMHO, they were the best band at the whole festival both for their musicality and interaction with the audience. There was some serious dancing going on. I can still remember so vividly waving my arms about and looking up to see my friends dancing on the bins around me, everyone was so ....hyped. I'm putting up a few youtube vids of them live to give you an idea, the thing is as good as they are, you MUST experience them live. All of their videos may be watched on the official site here so please do support them!! If they are in your area GO TO THEM! The crappy quality of the vids does not do them justice but I want to give you an idea of what it was like.....amazing.
