- Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
- Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.
- Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
- Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
- Take a deep breath.
- Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
- Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age.
- No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
- The best is yet to come...
- No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up
- Everyone is born essentially good.
- You should never do anything with a bad attitude. If it has to get done anyway, you might as well do it with a smile.
- The little things count. Be nice to people.

Life's Lessons
My friends recently started posting his life lessons online. I thought I'd share a few of them and a few of mine as a reminder to more actively use them as a guide in my life. I started applying them today at work and it actually made a difference. I'm happier. I'm particularly fond of No 7 and 13.

Good ones.
Esp. number 13. That's the one. On my worst of days, I tell myself that at least I was nice, at least I tried to make someone else's day better.
