Normally I'm one of those cynical people that hates it when everyone starts celebrating Christmas too early. This is probably because it coincides with college exams and lots of horrible stress but not so this year! Over the next few weeks I'm going to post about my favourite Christmas songs and about some of the lovely traditions we have at home. Here are two songs I absolutely love below. Don Oíche Úd i mBeithil (translates as "That Fateful Night in Bethlehem" in Irish) by renowned trad band Altan and a Christmas duet with Mick Flannery and Lisa Hannigan (they sing so beautifully live and I think they should get together and have lots of babies).
