Apology

To the people of Cork, I am sorry. And you're probably wondering why. The thing is, myself and my friend Fu, well...we aurally molested you today. And you probably enjoyed it. We would like to think we go busking with the premise that we play classical music to the masses with integrity and dignity, spreading the joy of Bach, Beethoven, all the greats! But no. We didn't. And I'm sorry. Playing Pachelbel's Canon on repeat, this ridiculous cycle of 5ths that everyone is familiar with from TV shows and weddings, well it just won't cut it any more. I just know you know it off by heart and that's painful to bear. The thing is though, you payed us good money to play that piece over and over....and over again, you even offered us money to come to your weddings and play so eh... we'll most likely do it again. Maybe even tomorrow if the weather permits. But just know that those 8 notes I play are ischaemic to my soul. Then again, that new jumper I want to buy in Brown Thomas will cover that up nicely, so well...thanks.

Also, thanks to the lovely women who decorated Fu's violin case with free flowers. Aren't people just so nice sometimes??!! :-) A big thanks must go to the two 14 year olds too who made their friend give us back the money he stole from us for the "bus" (yeah whatever druggy ...)
