Bassoon*

I must say that I'm really lucky in so many respects. The social scene I walk in is very open and accepting of the fact that I'm gay. I mean, I've come across people have told me they don't believe in gay marriage, don't believe that gay men can adopt children and all that in the past and i'm well up for the debate. I can tackle them on the issues logically and support my points by referencing to studies. Tonight though, some girl shouted "f*gott" at me down the street. All I was doing was walking into a gig in Cyprus Avenue. I know that it's a far greater reflection on her than me but at the same time, it really is quite horrible. :-(
