On a slightly lighter note, here's a great performance by Mary Byrne in tonight's X Factor show from Dublin. Isn't she so endearing and so soulful? I'm far too emotionally infatuated with her already, I'll be in tears by the time they get to elimination rounds. I'll also admit that that look on Simon Cowell's face at 3.50 kind of made me melt for a second. For shame. Finally, I'd like to state categorically that Katy Perry was the most useless judge ever to grace the X Factor stage tonight. I wasn't expecting much and she delivered exactly that. Pah.
