Because I haven't really made enough of an effort since my last post. On a brighter note, people noticed so thanks for your comment Matt. :-)
So here's a quick update of the last few weeks.
1. Work is going great. I love my job and especially my team. Old people are just so cool. Never thought I'd refer to someone as a "young 93 year old" either but you live and learn.
2. My mother occasionally works with me. It's great in that she brings me snacks when I'm on call but now she's gone and made friends with my friends. Today one of them started giving out to me about not getting enough sleep at night. Not cool Mom. Not cool.
3. I went to Dublin to visit Turner for the weekend and ended up going whale watching by Dunleary beach. It was really quite beautiful. Then we went to see "Never let me go", which is a rather heartbreaking movie. Well worth a watch. Go see it.
4. It's Valentine's Day. I gave the bf my card and a small present yesterday. I think he appreciated what I wrote inside. Nothing says happy valentine's day like "So glad I mauled you that night."
5. I'm applying for a job in Melbourne this evening. Kinda awesome.
